This 6mm (1/4 inch) mesh sieve is useful for sifting through spoil heaps to help recover artefacts that may have been missed. The diameter of the sieve is 37cm.

Remember though that it will not recover items less than 6mm in size - so may not be used to collect ecofacts (such as seeds and charcoal) OR microliths - for example.

A great addition to any site.
