This WHS 4" drop forged Archaeology Trowel is used by Archaeologists across the world and is the primary tool used in archaeological excavation

As an alternative to the wooden handled 4" archaeologists trowel, we also offer this comfortable soft grip version.  Many people find the comfortable grip is preferable, though the increased size of the handle may be slightly too big for smaller hands.

This variation features an ergonomic soft grip handle with finger guard for maximum comfort and grip. Especially designed for Archaeologists by archaeologists, via BAJR, the WHS Trowel features;

   a solid forged construction for ultimate strength,
   lighter and better balanced design for ease of use,
   a thicker blade which provides added toughness,
   the high lift provides extra knuckle clearance,
   an improved soft grip handle design for maximum user comfort,

Thank you for your very prompt delivery. I ordered previously through amazon, who were a couple of quid cheaper, but they were out of stock and could not tell me when they would be in stock again.
